The Andrew Young Foundation
Program Highlights and Achievements 2010
This had been the most successful and productive year for growth
and development for the Andrew Young Foundation since its
inception in 2003. The many achievements and successes are due,
in part, to the extraordinary partnerships the Foundation has
forged with friends, contributors, supporters and volunteers.
Ambassador Young established the Andrew Young Foundation to
advance his vision of equality, justice and peace for “all of
God’s children.” The Foundation has documented important
milestones in the history of the civil rights movement, City of
Atlanta and the world, but perhaps one of its most lasting
achievements is to challenge, encourage and educate young people
to become ethical leaders in a global world.
